Aircraft Guide
Regency Air Charter can provide private aircraft of all types, both fixed wing (aeroplanes) and rotary wing (helicopers). Below we list a short description of each of the main classes of aircraft, with a link to further information and an illustrative guide for each type, listing common aircraft, with details such as cabin space and range.

Light Jets (5-9 Seats) These aircraft seat between six and eight passengers, and have an endurance from 2h to 3h 30m, with a range of 1400-2300 miles. A very popular class for private charter, they provide superb comfort and convenience. At this size, cabin attendants are usually not provided.
Further information...
Super Light Jets (6-9 Seats) These ultra-modern aircraft have the edge on light jets for speed, but lack the tall cabins of full midsize jets, in which there is often room to stand. Again, flight attendant service is not usually included in aircraft of this size. Their range is up to 2,000nm.
Further information...
Midsize Jets (7-9 Seats) At this size, aircraft begin to include more extensive facilities, such as galleys, washrooms and significant luggage capacity. Endurance is 3-5 hours; range, typially around 2,500nm. Flight attendant optional.
Further information...
Super Midsize Jets (8-10 Seats) Super Midsize is to Midsize as Super Light is to Light. Aircraft in this class have a range of up to 3,900nm. Flight attendants are usually included as standard at this size and above.
Further information...
Heavy Jets (8-18 Seats) These aircraft have a range of 3,200 to 4,500nm. At this size, cabins feel truly spacious and unrestricted, with cabin heights often in excess of 6ft.
Further information...
Long Range Executive Jets (11-18 Seats) These aircraft have inter-continental capabilities, and can often be configured to include beds/sleeping areas. They also have significant kitchen and entertainment facilities.
Further information...
VIP Airliners These are well-known ‘jumbo jets’, but configured for the travel of small numbers of people in supreme, sublime luxury.
Further information...
Helicopters (3-16 Seats) Helicopters are perfect for short site-to-site trips.
Further information...
Turboprops (6-10 Seats) With jet-propeller engines, turboprops are only slightly slower than normal jet aircraft, but can land at much smaller airfields; and so they are a staple of the private charter market, perfect for shooting trips and family holidays alike!
Further information...
Light (Piston-Engined) Aeroplanes (4-8 Seats) Whatever your destination, a suitable airfield for a light aeroplane is often within easy reach, especially within Europe and the United States. This makes them a cheap and efficient alternative to helicopters, as well as a highly versatile class in their own right.
